In November of 2023, The Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program in Ludlow, Vermont opened its doors. Dedicated to addiction recovery, the non-medical program integrates the proven 12 Steps with emotional sobriety and Mindfulness Oriented Recovery Enhancement (M.O.R.E.). Divided Sky was founded by Trey Anastasio of the band Phish, and Melanie Gulde, the drug court case manager who guided him through a 14-month court-ordered journey following his December 2006 arrest for DUI and drug possession.
Following is a quote from Trey ...
"As a person in recovery, I understand how valuable it is to individuals in early sobriety to have access to an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive community where they can begin to build a solid foundation for their new sober lives. At the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program, our mission is to deliver supportive and compassionate programming with dignity and respect for individuals and their families affected by addiction. We do this by offering a safe environment for men and women to build the foundation necessary to live a productive, healthy, and sober life."
Trey has almost exclusively been playing with our "El Camino" guitar strap for the past couple of years now and that hasn't gone unnoticed by us. We like to support our artists and so this "Giving Tuesday", December 3, we will be donating 10% of all sales of guitar straps, wallets, cuffs and pouches to the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program.
